Safety and moderation
Bubble is an 18+ product built around real places, so reporting, blocking, moderation and deletion are launch requirements rather than later additions.
Report from where you found it
Every Bubble, profile, message and private interaction can be reported in place. A report opens a moderation case with a priority and a response target.
Blocking is enforced, not cosmetic
When you block someone, the block is applied in discovery, chat, notifications and media access. It is not a filter drawn over content that still arrives.
- Blocked accounts cannot reach you through Bubbles, messages or Message Requests.
- Existing access is revoked, not merely hidden.
Human decisions, recorded
Moderation decisions are bound to a policy version, a reason code and evidence, and are written to an append-only audit trail. A reviewer cannot decide their own case.
Child safety is the top priority
Child-safety reports are the highest priority class and carry the shortest response target of any category.
18+ only
Bubble is not for anyone under 18. Accounts found to be under the minimum age are removed.
What happens after you report
- The report is recorded and a moderation case is opened with a priority derived from the category.
- The case gets a response target based on that priority, and is queued for review by a human operator.
- A decision is recorded against a policy version with a reason code, and enforcement is applied to the target.
- If a decision affects your account, you can appeal it within 30 days.
| Class | Target |
|---|---|
| P0 — child safety, while actively covered | 1 hour |
| P1 — violence, harassment, hate, illegal content, privacy | 4 hours |
| P2 — other categories | 24 hours |
| General support | 48 hours |
Appeals
If content of yours is removed or your account is restricted, suspended or banned, you can appeal within 30 days. An appeal is reviewed against the same policy version the decision was made under, and the outcome is recorded.
