Four things that make Bubble different
Every one of them is a product rule, enforced on the server — not a setting that can quietly change.
The map is the home screen
There is no primary feed to scroll. You browse the world map, see where activity actually is, and decide where to go.
Moments expire
A Bubble is short-lived by design. What you leave at a place is a moment, not a permanent post on a profile.
Live is camera-only
Live capture comes from the camera or microphone in the moment. Anything imported from the gallery is labelled Memory, everywhere, always.
No standalone text posts
Bubble is about what a place looks and sounds like. A Bubble carries photo, video or voice — captions support the moment, they do not replace it.
The loop
Four steps, and the third one is the reason the app exists.
Open the map
Pan anywhere in the world. You see Bubbles, activity clusters and Hot areas — where people are actually leaving moments right now.
Get closer
Your Bubble Zone is 2 km by default. Some Bubbles open only when you are inside their Pop Radius, so distance is part of the story.
Pop it
Popping opens the moment: a photo, a video, a voice note left at that exact place. Access is checked on the server before any media is delivered.
Drop your own
Capture Live where you are, or share a Memory clearly marked as one. Then react, add friends, or answer a Message Request.
Live or Memory — never ambiguous
The single most important label in the app. A moment either happened now, in front of the camera, or it came from a gallery.
Live
Camera and microphone only, captured in the moment, at the place. Live can never be produced from an imported file.
Memory
Imported from your gallery and labelled Memory in the map, the viewer, notifications and analytics. Nothing hides where it came from.
The distinction is enforced end to end — in the capture flow, in the database, and in every payload the app sends.
Built so proximity never becomes surveillance
Location is the whole point of Bubble, which is exactly why it is the part with the strictest rules.
No live person tracking
Bubble never exposes another person’s exact or continuously updating location. Access is answered as a yes or no, not as coordinates.
Aggregates have a floor
Map activity areas appear only above a privacy floor: at least 3 Bubbles from at least 2 different people. One person alone never becomes a visible hotspot.
Private media stays private
Media lives in private storage and is delivered through short-lived, one-use links issued only after the server has authorised you.
You can leave with your data
Request an export, or delete your account with a 30-day grace period and a published retention schedule.
Coins: optional, closed, and honest about it
Bubble Coins unlock optional features. They are virtual items inside Bubble and nothing else.
What Coins are for
Eligible Private Bubble access, Remote Pop, Boost and Super Bubble. The Coin cost is always shown before you confirm.
No cash value
Coins cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money, or transferred directly to another person. There is no cash-out, ever.
Boost is not Hot
Paid Boost and organic Hot are kept visually and analytically distinct, so attention you paid for never looks like attention you earned.
The server owns the balance
Every Coin movement is a transactional, idempotent ledger entry. The app on your phone never decides what you can afford.
Coins are virtual items for use in Bubble. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be transferred directly to another person.

Questions people ask first
Do other people see where I am?
No. Bubble never shows another person’s exact or continuously updating live location. When access depends on distance, the server answers the access question without publishing coordinates.
How long does a Bubble last?
Bubbles are short-lived; lifetimes are set by configuration and shown in the app. Expiry is enforced on the server, so an expired Bubble cannot be opened by an old link or a stale app.
Can I use Bubble without buying anything?
Yes. Discovering, Popping within your Bubble Zone, Dropping moments, reacting and messaging do not require a purchase. Coins and Bubble+ only unlock optional extras.
Can I get money back out of Coins?
No. Coins are virtual items for use inside Bubble. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be transferred directly to another person.
What is the minimum age?
Bubble is for people aged 18 and over.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings → Account & Data → Delete account, or by email if you cannot reach the app. Deletion runs with a 30-day grace period and a published retention schedule.
