Version: community-guidelines-v1-rc-1
Effective date: 2026-08-08
Bubble is a map of real moments tied to places. These rules apply to Bubbles, profiles, handles, photos, video, voice, captions, chats, requests, reactions, reports, and any other content or behavior in Bubble.
Be real about the moment
- Use Live only for content captured through Bubble at that time.
- Gallery imports are Memory and must keep the Memory label.
- Do not falsify when or where media was captured, impersonate another person, or present edited context as evidence of a real event.
- Do not create fake activity, fake users, coordinated engagement, misleading Private previews, or fabricated safety alerts.
Respect people and their boundaries
Do not harass, threaten, shame, stalk, intimidate, blackmail, sexually harass, repeatedly contact someone after rejection, evade a block, coordinate abuse, or encourage others to target a person. Do not reveal or threaten to reveal a home address, precise location, phone number, private identity, intimate material, financial information, or other personal data without permission.
Do not attack or dehumanize people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious health condition, or immigration status. Context such as counterspeech, education, documentary reporting, or self-reference may be considered, but it does not excuse targeted harm.
Protect children and vulnerable people
Bubble is for people aged 18 or older. Any sexualization, grooming, solicitation, exploitation, trafficking, or sexual material involving a person under 18 is prohibited, including synthetic or illustrated material and attempts to obtain or trade such material. Do not encourage self-harm, exploit a crisis, target a vulnerable person for money or sexual content, or share material that identifies someone seeking shelter, healthcare, or protection.
No non-consensual sexual content
Do not share intimate images without permission, sexual violence, hidden-camera sexual content, threats to share intimate material, sexual services, or content that appears to involve coercion. Nudity or sexual content may be restricted or removed even when consensual, particularly in public discovery, Private paid content, profile media, or teasers.
No credible violence or dangerous activity
Do not threaten, praise, plan, instruct, or recruit for real-world violence, terrorism, organized hate, human trafficking, or violent criminal activity. Do not use Bubble to sell weapons, illegal drugs, stolen goods, or regulated goods in violation of applicable rules. Graphic material may be removed or limited even when shared for awareness.
Do not place Bubbles that expose a residence, school, shelter, healthcare location, military facility, active emergency, or another sensitive place in a way that creates a safety risk. Bubble may reduce location precision, deny a Drop, hide discovery, or preserve evidence when needed for safety.
No scams, spam, or manipulation
Do not run phishing, advance-fee scams, fake giveaways, investment schemes, impersonation scams, credential theft, malware, repeated unsolicited promotion, artificial engagement, or Coin farming. Bubble Coins are not money and cannot be sold, withdrawn, traded, or transferred directly between users.
Respect ownership
Share content you created or have permission to use. Do not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. A report should identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, and a reliable way to contact the reporter.
Private and paid content has the same rules
Private, Friends, Secret, chat, and paid content are not exempt. Do not use a blurred preview, price, or Secret state to suggest prohibited sexual, shocking, deceptive, or exploitative content. Bubble may review content before publication, delay or withhold associated Coin credits, reverse a transaction through compensating ledger entries, restrict paid creation, or remove access when content violates these rules.
Enforcement
Bubble may warn, limit visibility, hold or remove content, disable a feature, freeze paid creation, revoke an access grant, restrict messaging, suspend or terminate an account, preserve relevant evidence, and block abusive devices or linked activity. Severity, context, intent, harm, history, evasion, and risk of recurrence inform the response. Coin ledger history is not deleted to hide enforcement; authorized reversals use recorded compensating entries.
When a decision is appealable, the affected person can appeal from the Safety Center. A report receipt or outcome will not expose the reporter, confidential evidence, internal detection methods, or another person’s private data.
Report and block
Use the safety menu on a Bubble, profile, or conversation to report a concern. Choose the closest category and include only details needed for review. Blocking takes effect across discovery, profiles, friendships, requests, messages, activity, notifications, and future access according to product policy.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency service. Bubble is not an emergency dispatch or live-location service.
